These days, a video is going viral on social media, in which Kenyan content creator Raymond Kahuma is seen trying to make the world’s largest chapatti. It was claimed that this chapatti will weigh 200 kg and will directly challenge the Guinness record, but this “Mega Chapatti Mission” is viral on the internet not for the record but for the failed stunt.
Attempt to make world’s largest bread failed
In the video, a group from Kenya has unsuccessfully tried to make the world’s largest roti. It is seen in the video how its preparations are going on in full swing. In which first a pan is prepared with many tools and to keep it, a big stove is also shaped with bricks. All preparations are done. Roti is made and one side is also fried. But as soon as the artisans slide 20 wooden paddles down together and try to lift it, the story suddenly takes a turn. The legendary chapatti started tearing from the edges, cracking from the middle, and within a few seconds this 200 kg ‘Mahachapati’ disintegrates like paper. The team tried to save it by fighting from all sides, but the people who set out to make the record could only see the record failing.
These things were needed, so much was spent
It is shown in the video what things are required to make roti. It has been claimed that to make the roti, a 2 meter wide pan and a special stove were prepared by hand. Apart from this, 20 wooden flip paddles and four sacks of coal. The makers thought that after seeing all this the Guinness people would hand over the medal. But what happened was what everyone had feared. Let us tell you that the cost of making the roti was around Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand.
