In the information given to the stock exchange on January 20, Persistent Systems said that in the board meeting, approval has been given to give an interim dividend of Rs 22 per share. To avail the benefit of this dividend, the company has set the record date as 27th January.
That is, only those investors whose names are in the records of the company till one day before this date will be entitled to this payment. However, investors will get the opportunity to place bets on shares only till January 23. Because, there will be a weekly holiday of Saturday and Sunday on 24th and 25th January. The markets are going to remain closed on 26th January on the occasion of Republic Day.
When will I get the dividend money?
According to the company, after the declaration of dividend, payment will be made to the shareholders within the stipulated time. According to the announcement made on January 20, the dividend amount will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the investors within 30 days. In this way, eligible shareholders are expected to receive the dividend amount by March 20.

There was a decline in the company’s shares on BSE on Wednesday, January 21. The stock ended the day trading at Rs 6243.80, down 1.57 percent or Rs 99.40. The intraday high of the day was Rs 6395.20.
