Shocking revelations made in the survey
According to the information, a survey was recently conducted on those working in the private sector. It was revealed that 20 % of the people working in the private sector are suffering from diabetes. At the same time, 14 % of people are struggling with high blood pressure complaints. 6.3 Employees are obese, while 3.2% of the people saw problems related to heart. Apart from this, kidney disease was found in 1.9 % of people. The most worrying thing is that more than 50 % of the employees are troubled by stress i.e. mental stress, due to which these diseases are proving more dangerous. The 63 % people involved in the survey admitted that they could not take time out to focus on their health, due to which the problems are increasing.
Why these diseases are becoming dangerous?
According to Dr. Ajay Sharma, Senior Physician of Mumbai, the changing nature of private jobs is responsible for these diseases. Nowadays it is common to sit in the office for 9-10 hours. Working in one place for a long time is increasing complaints of obesity and joint pain. Apart from this, junk food and irregular eating habits are increasing diabetes and high blood pressure. Many employees work late at night, which leads to lack of sleep. Lack of sleep not only increases stress, but also has a bad effect on heart and kidney.
They are also worried about these problems
Cardiologist Dr. Priya Gupta in Delhi said that most people work on laptops and mobiles, due to which complaints of eye weakness and neck pain have become common. Apart from this, people are unable to take time for exercise or yoga under work pressure, due to which the problem is increasing a lot. He told that yoga and meditation should be done to reduce stress. Wake up for 5 minutes after every 2 hours in the office. If you feel chest pain, difficulty in breathing or fatigue, see a doctor immediately. Regular check -up is necessary for heart health.
