There is great news for the youth preparing for jobs in Uttar Pradesh Police Department. The path of recruitment to about 24 thousand posts of police in the state is now almost clear. The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has made complete preparations for this recruitment process and now only the approval of the government is awaited. It is believed that its official advertisement may be released by 15 June 2025.
Preparations were first in April, now notification will come in June
According to sources, earlier there was a plan to release this recruitment advertisement in the last week of April, but it was postponed for some administrative reasons. Now it is all expected that this notification will be released by June 15 and the online application process will start.

- Soldier Civil Police – 3245 posts
- Soldier Armed Police/PAC – 2444 posts
- Soldier Special Security Force (SSF) – 1341 posts
- Mounted Police – 71 posts
- Total of Sub Inspector – 4543 posts
- Sub Inspector Civil Police – 4242 posts
- Platoon Commander Women’s Corps – 106 posts
- Platoon Commander/Sub Inspector Armed Police – 135 posts
- Sub Inspector/Platoon Commander Special Security Force (SSF) – 60 posts
Increased age limit for recruitment, three years discount
The youth have got another relief. Taking an important decision recently, the state government has approved a rebate of 3 years in the maximum age limit in the recruitment of sub -inspector post. That is, the candidates who were slightly left behind in the age limit, will now get another chance.
