Tigmanshu talked about films in an interview given to Smita Prakash. During this time, he also talked about casting big stars in his films. Tigmanshu has worked in many films with Irrfan Khan. Both were also very good friends.
Why not work with big stars
Talking to Tigmanshu, Smita said- Anupam Kher says that he does a film and comes out of it. But some actors are unable to come out. On this, Tigmanshu said- Because he is an actor. The actors who say that we take time to get out, they say lies because acting work is not so complex. I have also done acting and acting is the easiest thing in film making. Tigmanshu further said- I have not worked with very big actors, intentionally. Because they become a big burden.
Tigmanshu further said- It is a mind set in India. They consider themselves to be a zeal. But this is not the case with me, I am a zeal because I am a director. So I have not worked with the actors because I do not flatter them, I did not become a court of their court.
Want to work with Abhishek Bachchan
Tigmanshu further said- I like Abhishek Bachchan a lot, I want to work with him. I like Ajay Devgan very much. All these new lots are very good. Ranbir, Ranveer are all discipled.
