Metro will run from 4 am these two days
According to DMRC, during the MCD by-elections, polling personnel can easily reach the metro by metro. Therefore, on 30th November and 3rd December, the metro will start much before the scheduled time. Sunday 30th November is the voting day and on this day the first metro from all the terminal stations will start running at 4 am. Usually trains are not available this early on Sundays. But this time special arrangements have been made.

The metro will run at an interval of every 30 minutes from 4 am to 6 am. So that the crowd pressure does not increase in the initial hours. After six o’clock, the operation of trains will again be on the normal Sunday timetable. That means the situation for the rest of the day will remain the same as on any normal Sunday. People associated with the by-elections will get a lot of relief and common travelers will also be able to catch the metro as soon as possible.

Only the first metro will not run early on November 30. In fact, the last metro of the night will also depart a little later than usual. According to DMRC, the last train from all terminal stations will run at 11.30 pm, which is about 30 minutes late than usual. This means that employees returning from election duty or passengers traveling late at night will be able to reach home easily.

Not only this, there will be a change in the starting timing on 3rd December also. Because the results of the by-elections will be declared on this day. Even on the day of results, the metro will start running from 4 am. On both these days, DMRC’s focus will be to ensure that people engaged in work related to voting and counting do not face any problem in commuting and other passengers also do not face any problem.
