How long will the project be implemented
On June 18, the country’s Union and Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari made a big announcement. He gave information about starting the annual fastag pass in the country. This will not only save people’s money, but it is also easy to get out of the toll plaza. After the start of this new fastag, the drivers will be able to cross a toll plaza for just Rs 15. This annual pass scheme will be launched from 15 August 2025.
How to cross toll plaza for 15 rupees
Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari had said about the annual fastag and said that you can cross the toll plaza for just 15 rupees. He had told that the price of this fastag pass is 3000 rupees, through which you can take 200 trips. A journey means crossing a trip i.e. a toll plaza. Accordingly, according to the toll towards you, it will cost 15 rupees.
On the other hand, if you normally pay Rs 50 on a toll, then you will have to pay Rs 10,000 according to 200 toll plazas, but you can save Rs 7000 through Annual Fastag Pass.
What will be the advantage of this fastag
In general, whatever fastag you use, you have to recharge again and again. On the other hand, if you talk about annual fastag, then it will have to be recharged only once. When its time period is complete, you will have to renew it again. Once given it, people will not need to be in line. This will be implemented across the country from 15 August 2025.
