In this sequence, taking a revolutionary initiative this year, it has been decided to give the scholarship ahead of time. On September 26, more than 4 lakh students of the state will be provided scholarship in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Jupiter Hall of Indira Gandhi Foundation on 26 September. At the same time, many ministers of the government will also be present in this program of CM.
Scholarship was available in March earlier
Minister of State (Independent Charge) Backward Classes Welfare and Disabled Empowerment Narendra Kashyap said that historical changes have been made in the scholarship distribution system under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Earlier scholarships were given in the month of February-March, while now it is being distributed in Navratri and September, so that students can take advantage of it on time. This will also be a gift of Deepawali for the students.
He said that in the year 2024, about 59 lakh students of Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes of the state had received scholarship, while in the year 2025 this number will increase to more than 70 lakhs. The scope of scholarship is being increased continuously by the government.

The minister said that for the premature scholarship to the students, the Backward Classes Welfare, Social Welfare and Minority Welfare Department took a comprehensive strategy for this, for this, for this. This is the reason that this time the benefit of scholarship will reach the students on the occasion of Navratri.
On this occasion, Minority Welfare Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, Minister of State for Backward Classes Welfare (Independent Charge) Narendra Kashyap, Minister of State for Social Welfare (Independent Charge) Asim Arun, Minister of State Social Welfare Sanjeev Gond, and Minister of State for Minorities Danish Azad Ansari will be present.
