The trailer of the docu-series “Honeymoon Se Hatiya” based on the famous Raja Raghuvanshi murder case that shocked the country has been released. Through this documentary, an attempt has been made to bring before the public the layers of that dreadful conspiracy, which had destroyed a happy family. On the occasion of the trailer release, Raja’s family members appeared very emotional and expressed hope that this will reveal the bitter truth to the society.
Raja’s brother Vipin Raghuvanshi clarified that this is not a fictional film but a documentary which has been made with the permission of the family. He told that he had also talked to a film director some time ago, but due to the story being incomplete, that project has been stopped at the moment. Along with Raja’s case, some other famous murder cases have also been included in this documentary.
Court case will not be affected
Regarding the impact on the legal process after the trailer release, Vipin Raghuvanshi said, “This documentary is completely based on the facts that have already been revealed in the media and police investigation. Therefore, it will not have any negative impact on the ongoing court case, but will let the public know the truth.”
Demand from Meghalaya government: Killers should not get legal help
The family members also raised questions on the role of Meghalaya government in the case. He has demanded that the main accused Sonam and her associates should not get any kind of legal aid or concession. Vipin says that the accused have not only taken the life of an innocent person but have also damaged the image of a peaceful state like Meghalaya. He warned that if such criminals come out, it will be a mockery of the law.
Tears shed after seeing brother on screen
Brother Vipin became emotional after seeing Raja in the trailer. He said with full throat that after seeing Raja on screen, the world will know what a big mistake Sonam has made by killing him. He said, “We cannot bring Raja back, but getting him justice is the only aim of our life now.”
What was the matter?
Let it be known that in May 2025, Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi had gone to Meghalaya with his wife Sonam for honeymoon, where he was murdered. Investigation had revealed that wife Sonam along with her lover had conspired to murder Raja.
