Tripura Murder Case: There was a stir in the dirty market market, 120 km from Agartala, the capital of Tripura, when the young man’s body was recovered from an ice cream freezer inside the trolley bag. The deceased was identified as 28 -year -old Suriful Islam, an electrician associated with the Smart City Mission Project. The murder was revealed by an incident on the evening of 8 June, in which Sariful was called by Navneeta Das on the pretext of giving a gift. The first doctor Dibakar Saha and two of his colleagues together strangled him to death under a conspiracy.
Sariful was first strangled to death. After this, a trolley bag was used to hide the dead body. A day after the murder, Dibakar’s parents Deepak Saha and Debika Saha came from Agartala and hid the body in the shop freezer.

Police action arrested six accused
On the case, senior Tripura Police officer Kiran Kumar said that the police clarified the role of all the accused through digital chat, call records and GPS location. Deep social confusion like Love Triangle and family pressure was found behind the murder. Dibakar’s parents and a woman have been arrested along with the three main accused related to the incident. All six accused will be produced in court on Thursday (June 12).
Potential cause of murder
According to the police, Dibakar’s cousin, who was in a love affair with Sariful, was the center of this entire love triangle. Dibakar did not accept this relationship and this emotional conflict caused the murder. This case came to light after the honeymoon murder of Meghalaya, which has spread sensation about this link among social media and public.
