The Supreme Court has banned the new rules of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Now reactions of leaders regarding this are also coming to the fore. Now Samajwadi Party chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has also given his reaction on this decision of the Supreme Court. SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav said that our Constitution says that we cannot discriminate anywhere.
SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav said that whatever is coming out in the UGC case, we believe that the guilty should not be spared and the innocent should not be treated unfairly. Even before this, regulations had come in 2012, our Constitution says that we cannot discriminate anywhere. Despite all our laws, discrimination occurs from time to time.
SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav posted on X and wrote – “True justice is not injustice to anyone, the Honorable Court ensures this. The language of the law should be clear as well as the spirit, it is not just a matter of rules but also of intentions. There should be no oppression of anyone, no injustice to anyone. There should be no atrocities on anyone, no injustice to anyone.”
What did UP Congress President Ajay Rai say?
On the Supreme Court ban on UGC equity regulation, Uttar Pradesh Congress state president Ajay Rai said, “I would like to thank the Supreme Court. The work that the BJP government has done in the society has been unfortunate. The country belongs to everyone, everyone has equality, such a law should be made which treats everyone equally.”
Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar also reacted
Along with this, on the ban on UGC Regulation 2026 by the Supreme Court, Uttar Pradesh Government Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar said, “From the day UGC came, I was saying that the door of the Supreme Court is open, you go, you will get justice. The government said that they will form a committee, the report will come in 15 days and amendments will have to be made. Today the Supreme Court has agreed to their point and has put a stay, there will be further hearing.”
