Regarding this matter, US President Donald Trump said that the woman was responsible for this because she had tried to crush the officer.
Trump came to the defense of the immigration officer

The woman shot by the ICE officer has been identified as Renee Nicole Good. This incident occurred at a time when the Trump administration is running an immigration enforcement campaign in major cities of America. According to the report of news agency Associated Press, this is the fifth death related to the actions taken by the Trump administration regarding immigration.

US Vice President JD Vance described Renee Nicole Good as a deranged leftist who tried to overpower a federal officer. Vance said the officer who shot him fired his gun in self-defense. He said that after watching the video from a different angle, it becomes clear that the woman hit the officer while driving at high speed.
