According to this leaked transcript, Yuri Ushakov asked Witkoff whether a telephone call could be arranged between the two leaders (Trump-Putin).

In this conversation, Vitkoff tells Yuri Ushakov that my man (Trump) is ready for this. During the conversation, Witkoff suggests to Ushakov that Putin congratulate Trump on the Gaza ceasefire, say that Russia supports it, and describe Trump as a true man of peace. You congratulate the President on this achievement and say that you supported it and that you are happy that it happened.
