In a conversation with Finnish President Alexander Stubb at the White House, Trump claimed that no one in history has achieved what he has achieved. Amidst this big claim of Trump, members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee in Oslo are reportedly preparing themselves for what would happen if Trump is ignored once again.
According to The Guardian report, officials say that they have already made their decision and the award winner will be announced on October 10, 2025. This announcement will come after the US President announces Israel-Hamas ceasefire.
‘No one in history has stopped 8 wars in 9 months’
Speaking at the White House, Trump said, “I know that no one in history has stopped 8 wars in 9 months and I’ve stopped 8 wars, so that’s never happened before. They have to do what they do, whatever they do, it’s OK. I didn’t do it because I did it because I saved a lot of lives.” Expressing grief over the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, he said that 7,000 soldiers are killed every week. Trump promised that he would find a solution to this problem also.
Which are those 8 countries about which Trump is making claims?
According to Trump, the world is indebted to him because he has single-handedly stopped 8 wars. This list of the US President includes Israel-Iran, India and Pakistan, Congo and Rwanda, Cambodia-Thailand, Armenia and Azerbaijan, besides the dispute between Egypt and Ethiopia regarding the dam on the Nile River and the dispute or ceasefire efforts related to Serbia-Kosovo. They claim that the eighth conflict is the Israel-Hamas ceasefire in Gaza, which they have presented as a lasting peace.
India, one of the countries included in Trump’s peace list, has repeatedly rejected his claim of mediating between New Delhi and Islamabad. India has clarified that all issues with Pakistan are purely bilateral and there is never any need for any third party mediation.
