Trump-Putin Talks: As soon as Russia’s airbase was attacked by Ukraine, it was decided that Russian President Vladimir Putin would not sit silent. Now in a conversation with US President Donald Trump, the Russian counterpart has clearly indicated that he is going to give a strong reply to this attack. President Trump said on Wednesday that he spoke to Russia’s President Putin on the phone for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The conversation took place by Ukraine after a drone attack on Russia’s airbase. Trump said, “The conversation was good, but it will not bring peace immediately.”
Iran nuclear deal was also talked about
The US President said that the two leaders also discussed about Iran’s nuclear program. Putin said that he can help in the ongoing conversation on the issue. Trump believes that Iran is deliberately delaying the decision and now a clear answer is necessary soon.
Putin said to respond to the attack
Trump said that Putin expressed displeasure over the drone attack on Russia and clearly said that he would answer it. The attack took place under ‘Operation Spiderweb’, in which Ukrainian agents targeted four Russian airbase.
Second conversation in two weeks
This is Trump and Putin’s second conversation. Earlier on May 19, the two leaders also spoke on the phone. Although peace efforts are on between Russia and Ukraine, but there is no strong hope of stopping the war. Trump expressed displeasure over Putin’s recent antics and said, “He is absolutely craze.” Earlier, Trump warned him on a missile attack on Ukrainian cities and said, “Putin is playing with fire.”
America angry over Russia’s attitude
Efforts to stop war and establish peace in Ukraine continue. US President Donald Trump is playing an active role in this direction but the US says Russian President Vladimir Putin is not showing seriousness. America has made it clear many times that Putin will have to take honest and serious initiative for ceasefire.
In recent times, Ukraine has made many major attacks on Russia. According to reports, 41 bombers of Russia have been destroyed in the Ukrainian drone attacks and the Crimea Bridge has also been targeted. Russia has taken a tough stand on these attacks and warned that it will give a tough and decisive answer to it.
