Gregory Mikes said in an official statement, “I reiterated my commitment to further strengthening our relationship, discussed the shared hope of peace in Ukraine and expressed my concern about President Trump’s arbitrary tariffs, who are putting in danger of the important partnership of India and America.” He also emphasized that the Congress fully supports the partnership of America and India, which has been deepened in the last 25 years, especially through Quad Summit.
Indian Ambassador expressed gratitude for continuous support
Indian Ambassador to the US Vinay Mohan Quatra thanked US MP Mikes for his continuous guidance and strong support. In addition, he said that there was a detailed discussion between them on business, energy, indo-pacific and broad issues related to mutual interests. At the same time, Quatra also met separately with Carol Miller, chairperson of Congressonal Energy Export Cocks.
