Hamas said on Friday that he agrees to some points of US President Donald Trump’s peace plan to end the Gaza war. The organization has given a positive indication on the release of the hostages and the administration of the Gaza strip to an independent Palestinian body. However, he made it clear that he wants to interact further on many other conditions of the plan.

According to a report by Reuters, Hamas gave his official response to Trump’s 20-Autial plan. The US President had given Hamas a deadline to accept or reject the proposal by Sunday. Trump did not clarify whether any amendment or interaction in the terms of the proposal is possible or not, while Hamas wants to discuss it.

Silence on leaving weapons

Significantly, Hamas did not tell in this statement whether he is ready to accept the condition of disarmament. Israel and America have been demanding Hamas to leave weapons for a long time, but the organization has been rejecting it continuously.

What did Hamas say?

Hamas said in his statement, “We appreciate Arabia, Islamic and International Efforts, including US President Donald Trump’s efforts, seeking to end the war on Gaza, exchange prisoners and get admission to humanitarian aid.” Hamas further said that he according to the terms of the trump “all the occupied prisoners- whether they are alive or agree to release their remains, ensure the required ground conditions.”

The organization also said that it is ready to start a detailed talks through intermediaries immediately. Apart from this, he also obeyed the administration of the Gaza strip to hand over an independent Palestinian body or group of technical experts, which should be the support of Palestinian national consent and Arabian-Islamic countries.

White House did not respond

The plan of US President Donald Trump immediately includes the Ceasefire, the occupation of Hamas, instead of the release of hostages, the exchange of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, the return of the Israeli army in a phased manner from Gaza, healing of Hamas and the installation of a temporary government under the supervision of an international body are included.

At the same time, the White House did not immediately comment on Hamas’s response. This proposal has support from Israel as well as many Arab and European countries.
