Actor R Madhavan has shared the secret of his fitness and young look, due to which his fans are getting very inspired. He told that he neither needed a gym, nor any surgery or medicine to bring a big change in his body. In just 21 days, he achieved this great transformation by adopting some of his traditional habits and simple lifestyle.
Madhavan, stating his secrets, said that he eats homemade fresh and plain food and follows habits like intermittent fasting. They eat dinner early and stay away from phone or TV before going to bed. This method of Madhavan proves that an expensive gym can be healthy and fit even without routine or extra diet. Just need to adopt some simple and natural habits.
Madhavan’s traditional habits and natural ways
Madhavan told that the secret of his fitness and young appearance is some of his special habits adopted since childhood. He said that his routine is very simple, including regular use of homemade fresh food, regular use of coconut oil and bathing with oil once a week. Madhavan believes that these traditional and natural methods have helped them to keep themselves fit without any modern gym or surgery.
- Skincare: He does oil bath (with sesame oil) on every Sunday. Coconut oil is applied in the rest of the days. He believes that the morning sun and clean lifestyle have kept his skin young and wrinkle-free.
- Eating habits: He always likes fresh and homemade food. He does not like fast food, packaged items and remedies. He eats food made with his mother’s hands like lentils, vegetables and rice.
- Listen to the body: Madhavan does not see time, but only when he feels hunger. He gives this habit a credit to keep himself young and happy. He also stays away from fried food and alcohol.
Madhavan’s 21 days 8 point routine
Madhavan told that he changed himself in 21 days only by bringing discipline in his diet and routine. His 8 point routine is like this.
- Entrectant Fasting: He followed Time-Restricted Eating.
- Chew the food well: He chewed every bite 45-60 times, which improved the digestion and avoiding overating.
- Morning Walk: He walked long daily instead of intensity workouts.
- No Raw Food after 3 pm: For better digestion, he avoided raw fruits and salads in the evening.
- Last mile before 6:45 pm: By eating the night dinner, he gave the body time to digest before sleeping.
- No screen time before sleeping: For a good sleep, he lived away from the screen at least 90 minutes ago.
- Drink plenty of fluid: Hydration was an important part of his routine.
- Simple and digested food: His food included a simple and ripe food without any processed or artificial ingredients.
