A source close to the Saudi Army told news agency AFP on Saturday that Turkey will not be included in the mutual defense agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. This month, a Turkish official had said that the two countries had started talks with the aim of joining the alliance, after which speculations had intensified that the three countries were keen to form a powerful alliance.
Deal made between Saudi-PAK after attack in Qatar
Speculation about this also spread rapidly because tension is continuously increasing in the Middle East. Last summer, when missiles fired by Israel arrived in Qatar, Saudi signed a defense pact with Pakistan. After these attacks, Iran bombed an American airport in Qatar. The source told AFP that Turkey would not enter into a defense deal with Pakistan and rejected reports of talks.

Many questions from Saudi-PAK defense pact
When Pakistan signed a defense deal with Saudi Arabia after being badly beaten by India in Operation Sindoor, many questions were raised about it. Actually, Pakistan has nuclear weapons, hence the world’s attention was drawn to this pact. Pakistan had suffered huge losses in the conflict with India. Many of its airbases were destroyed and fighter jets like JF-17 Thunder, F-16 were also shot down, after which it made this deal with Saudi. He felt that if such a situation ever arises with India in the future, Riyadh will help it. However, analysts believe that Saudi will not take any step because it also has good relations with Delhi.
