The 125cc segment is growing rapidly in India and in this, TVS Raider 125 and Bajaj Pulsar NS125 remain the choice of the youth. Pulsar NS125 is known for its sporty looks, performance and advanced ABS features, while TVS Raider 125 is popular due to its premium features, smart display and comfortable riding. Now the question is which of the two bikes is better. Let us know in detail.

Technology difference between console and connectivity

  • The TFT DD variant of TVS Raider 125 gives a very premium feel due to its TFT digital console. Its color display is interactive and it includes features like Bluetooth connectivity, call and message alerts and turn-by-turn navigation, making its interface look even more modern. On the other hand, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS125 now has an LCD digital console. It looks modern, but in terms of features it does not seem as advanced as a TFT display. In comparison, the console of Raider 125 feels much better.

Riding Features and Safety

  • Raider 125 comes with two riding modes Eco and Power, which maintain a balance between performance and mileage. The iGo Assist Mild-Hybrid technology given in it makes the ride smoother and more economical in the start-stop traffic of the city. Pulsar NS125 is the first bike in its segment to offer three-stage ABS system. It has been provided with Road, Rain and Off-road modes, which provide better control and safety in different situations. For this reason, NS125 appears ahead in terms of safety, while Raider 125 becomes a better option for smooth ride in the city.

Engine, Performance and Price

  • Both the bikes have almost the same engine capacity, but Pulsar NS125 gives slightly more power, as its 124.45cc engine generates 12 PS power and 11 Nm torque. The 124.8cc engine of TVS Raider 125 generates 11.4 PS power and 11.2 Nm torque. Both have 5-speed gearbox. Due to its light weight, Raider feels more active in the city and gives better mileage. Talking about the price, TVS Raider 125 is available in the range of around Rs 95,600, while Pulsar NS125 comes in the range of around Rs 98,400. Considering this difference and features, Raider 125 emerges as a more value for money option.
