Two days holiday on Ramnavmi in UP, 26th and 27th March will be holiday, government offices will remain closed.

Keeping in mind the increasing crowd of devotees and religious programs on the occasion of Ram Navami in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has taken a big decision. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has declared a holiday for two consecutive days on the occasion of Ram Navami. Earlier the holiday was scheduled for 26th March but now the government has declared 27th March also as a public holiday. After this decision, there will be holiday in government offices, many educational institutions and other government services in the state on both 26th and 27th March.

The main reason for this decision of Yogi government is being said to be the increasing number of devotees in temples and expansion of religious events. During Ram Navami, a large number of devotees reach the major temples of the state for darshan. Special prayers, processions and grand programs are organized at many religious places including Ayodhya. In such a situation, this decision has been taken for the convenience of the devotees and to maintain the smooth functioning of the system.

At the same time, due to this holiday in UP due to Ram Navami, the administration will also get time to make better preparations for security and crowd management. Necessary guidelines have already been given to the police and administrative officials, so that there is no inconvenience or chaos during Ram Navami. Preparations have already started in many temples of the state and special arrangements are being made for cleanliness, decoration, security arrangements and devotees. An atmosphere of enthusiasm regarding Ram Navami is being seen in Ayodhya, Varanasi, Mathura and other major religious cities.
