Actually speaking to Gaurav Khanna and Pranit More, Kunika Sadanand said, “I went on a dinner date where a man ordered champagne worth Rs 20,000. A day or two later, the same man said, ‘This is the best champagne, very expensive. I paid a lot for it. That’s when I realized – I drank that too! So, the next time he asked me out for dinner, I Told him directly, ‘Look, I am not coming.’ However, the actress refused to take the name and said, “Hey that man, if you listen, I can’t tell the name.” After this, Gaurav asked Kunika how many relationships she has been in and she revealed, “I have had two live-in relationships and four romances. And two marriages too. Meaning it is fine till the age of 60.”
When asked if she has ever dated an actor, Kunika replied, “No, never, I have never dated an actor. The problem with actors is that they love themselves too much. They love themselves so much, they can’t do anyone else, especially all the big actors. They will be looking at their face in the mirror all the time. How am I looking?”

Kunika Sadanand’s personal life has been full of many challenges. The actress’s first marriage was to a Marwari, who was 13 years older than her and this marriage broke within two and a half years. Together, they gave birth to a son, and they fought a long eight-year battle for custody of the child. Later, the child had decided to live with his father.

After this, she fell in love with Kumar Sanu, who was going through a difficult phase in his married life at that time. Their relationship lasted for six years. But Kunika did not give up on love.
