Two major universities of Gorakhpur Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (DDU) and Madan Mohan Malaviya University (MMMUT) signed an important MoU on Tuesday (July 22) with an important MoU with the Influence Center at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. This agreement was made in the presence of Honorable Governor of Uttar Pradesh and the Chancellor of both universities Anandiben Patel in Raj Bhavan of Lucknow. This agreement is expected to bring a new revolution in the fields of digital education and research in both universities.

Vice Chancellor Prof. from DDU. Poonam Tandon and Registrar Dhirendra Srivastava participated, while Vice Chancellor Prof. from MMMUT. Jai Prakash Saini and Registrar Chandra Prakash Priyadarshi were present. Dr. JP Singh Joel, director of the Influence, signed the MoU. Senior officials of both universities were also present on the occasion.

Influenced is an autonomous center of the University Grants Commission (UGC), which provides information and communication technology resources to universities across the country. These facilities will increase the quality of education and research of both universities. Also, transparency and innovation will also be strengthened in research.

DDU Vice Chancellor Prof. Poonam Tandon said, ‘This agreement has been reached under the guidance of Governor. This will take our university to new heights in the digital age. This will help in taking research to national and international levels. This agreement will start a new era in increasing the quality of digital education and research. At the same time, Vice Chancellor of MMMUT Prof. Jai Prakash Saini called it a historic step. He said, ‘This agreement will give a new dimension to our university in terms of digital resources. Services such as researcag, researcher and e-grade Indus will increase the quality and transparency of research. It will connect students and teachers to the national level e-library and our educational level will be stronger.

Directors of Influences assured that they would provide technical training, guidance and necessary resources to both universities. With this, all the goals of the agreement will be easily met.
