National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to release the answer key of UGC NET December Exam 2025-26 very soon. Candidates who have participated in this examination will be able to see their answer key by visiting the official website. This examination of UGC NET was conducted across the country between 31 December 2025 to 7 January 2026. This time the examination was conducted for a total of 85 subjects, in which lakhs of candidates had appeared.
After the release of the answer key, candidates will be able to match their given answers and know how their performance has been. Along with this, candidates can also calculate their estimated marks themselves. This answer key will be released online and can be downloaded in PDF format.
When will the answer key be released?
According to media reports and available information, the provisional answer key of UGC NET December Exam 2025–26 can be released by January 14, 2026. However, its official date will be announced soon by NTA. After the release of the answer key, candidates will also be given a chance to lodge objections.
What will be the marking scheme?
The marking scheme of UGC NET exam will remain the same as before. The candidate will be given 2 marks for every correct answer. It is a matter of relief that there is no negative marking for wrong answers in this exam. That means, even if the answer to any question is wrong, marks will not be deducted for it.

After the release of the answer key, if any candidate has any objection to any question or its answer, then he can file an objection on it. For this, NTA will issue a separate objection link. Candidates will be able to register their objection through online mode within the stipulated time limit. For this, candidates will also have to deposit the prescribed fee. No objection of any kind will be accepted after the deadline is over.

- A link related to “UGC-NET December 2025 Answer Key” will appear on the home page, click on it.
- Now a new page will open, where the candidate will have to enter his registration number and date of birth.
- Login after filling the information.
- As soon as you login, your answer key and response sheet will appear on the screen.
- Download it and match your answers.
