​UGC NET December 2025: Correction window for UGC NET opening from today, you can make these changes in the form

National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for UGC NET December 2025 application form from 10th November 2025. Now the candidates who had made a mistake in any information while applying can make corrections in their form till 11:59 pm on 12th November 2025. This correction process is going on on the official website of NTA, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can make necessary changes in the form using their login ID and password or date of birth.

NTA has clarified that this is just a one-time opportunity. That means candidates will be able to make changes in their form only once. As soon as you submit the revised form, it will be “frozen” and no further corrections will be possible. Therefore, candidates have been advised to check every information carefully before submitting the form.

In the correction window, candidates can update only certain information in their application form. These include date of birth, category, father’s name and mother’s name. If there are any mistakes in these details, this is the right time to correct them.

There will be no change in these details

There are some information which cannot be changed under any circumstances. These include the candidate’s name, gender, photo, signature, mobile number, email address, permanent and temporary address and exam city. These details will be kept the same as they were filled while applying.

These are the steps to work

Candidates who want to make corrections in their application can do so through a very easy process. For this they will first have to go to ugcnet.nta.nic.in. There on the homepage you will find a link named “UGC NET December 2025 Application Correction” or “Correction Window”. After clicking on it, candidates should login with their registration number and password or date of birth.

Now they can make changes in the information which has been allowed by NTA. After making changes, check the form again carefully and when everything seems correct, make the final submission by pressing the “Submit” button. Finally, keep a print copy of the form safe with you so that It can be used when needed.
