Keeping in mind the results of the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held at Tianjin, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry said that the main documents of this conference, the 20 -page Tianjin manifesto is a very surprising and negative sign of not mentioning the war on Russia’s Ukraine.
Ukraine said that this is the biggest aggression in Europe, which is considered to be the most serious after World War 2 and it is quite surprising to not mention it in such an important document. While the manifesto mentions many other wars, terrorist attacks and the world developments, the silence of the Russia-Ukraine war is clearly a major lapse.
Russia’s trick could not succeed
Ukraine says that we cannot talk about global development, international peace-protection, united Nations charter principles and stable development of business relations between different regions of the world without justifying Russia’s aggression. Ukraine has emphasized that the SCO Summit’s statement not mentioning the Russian-Ukraine war, is a reflection of the failure of Russia’s diplomatic efforts. Russia was trying to divide the world into two parts about this war and the perception should be made that there is positive thinking about Russia’s aggression in the countries outside Europe and North America, but this time this trick of Russia could not succeed.
Why did Russia fail?
Ukraine believes that Russia has failed to bring the opinion of SCO member countries in a position despite all its efforts. The Qurain has again appealed to all peace -loving countries to follow the rules of international law and United Nations Charter while assessing Russia’s aggression. Ukraine has urged Beijing to play a more active role in establishing peace in Ukraine, keeping in mind China’s important Bhurajnial role. This peace will be possible only when all the parties respect the principles of the United Nations Charter.
