He told, “When I married Gautami, the first year I used to live on her earnings. She used to make films for a show called Lipstick, and I had no employment. I would get up, make coffee for her, and she would go to work, while I stayed at home for a whole year.”

Ram started his acting career in 1998 with Doordarshan’s serial “Nyaya” and Sony Television show “Heena”. At the same time, he met Gautami in 2000 on the set of Star Plus serial “Ghar Ek Mandir”.
