Doctors at AIIMS Jodhpur told the media that Daulal Vaishnav was suffering from serious lung diseases like Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Pulmonary Fibrosis for several months. His lungs were severely damaged, due to which the level of oxygen was continuously decreasing. He was given many advanced medicines including oxygen therapy, steroids, but the situation did not improve.
How dangerous are these diseases?
COPD is a dangerous disease of the lungs, in which the air route starts obstructing and there is difficulty in breathing. At the same time, pulmonary fibrosis is a condition in which lung tissues are rigid and injured, which makes the absorption of oxygen difficult in the blood. Both diseases are serious in themselves. When they are together, the condition of the patient becomes very serious.
Pneumonia spoiled health
Please tell that Daulal Vaishnav had also recently got pneumonia, which worsened his condition. In fact, pneumonia put extra pressure on his lungs, which reduced his breathing ability. AIIMS doctors said that the condition of Daulal Vaishnav was very serious for the last few days. His condition worsened on Monday, after which he was placed on a ventilator. He was taken care of 24 hours, but could not be saved due to the severity and age of diseases.

Severe lung diseases such as COPD and Pulmonary fibrosis are among the major causes of death at global level. According to the World Health Organization i.e. WHO, COPD is the third biggest cause of death worldwide. The risk of this disease increases due to air pollution, dust and smoking etc. At the same time, pulmonary fibrosis disease is not common, but its exact treatment is not present at the moment.
