The incident took place in Milind Nagar area of Nanded, where Saksham Tate and Aanchal, residents of Nanded, were in a love relationship for the last three years. Saksham was a friend of Aanchal’s brother and by frequent visits to the house, both of them came closer to each other and decided to get married. But as soon as Aanchal’s father and brother came to know about this relationship, the family started opposing it fiercely because Saksham was from another caste. Despite constant threats and pressure from the family, Aanchal remained firm on her decision, after which the tension increased further.
Police officers were also stunned
(27 November) The body of Saksham Tate was found in Itwara police station area on Thursday evening, seeing whose condition even the police officers were stunned. Preliminary investigation revealed that Saksham was first beaten badly, then he was shot in the head and after that his head was crushed with a big stone so that his identity could be destroyed. The brutality of the murder shows that the entire conspiracy was carried out in extreme fanaticism and anger.
Will become part of the family
But the most sensational aspect of this incident came to light after this. As soon as the news of Saksham’s death was received, Aanchal reached his house. Before the last rites, she sat near his dead body, applied turmeric on Saksham’s body, applied vermilion on his forehead and also made her demands, just like a bride does with her groom at the time of marriage. Aanchal announces in front of everyone that she has married Saksham and now she will live in his house and become a part of his family.
Police has started investigating the allegations
This step of Anchal has become a topic of discussion in the entire city. While on one hand such a big crime has come to light in the society, on the other hand the girlfriend’s decision to marry her dead lover and live with his family makes this matter even more emotional and symbolic. Police have started investigating serious allegations against Aanchal’s family in the case of Saksham’s murder and interrogation of many people is going on. Aanchal said, “My Saksham won my love, even after death he won, my father and brothers lost.”
5 people were arrested
Prashant Shinde, Senior Police Officer, Nanded Police said that 5 people have been arrested in this case, including one minor, the names of the arrested accused are Gajanan Bambilwad, Sahil Singh alias Madan Singh Thakur, Somesh Lake, Vedant Phundekar, and a minor. Relevant sections of Atrocity and Arms Act have been imposed in this case.
