This sensational incident took place at Vishwanath Temple located in Multannagar of Tipinagar police station area. According to CCTV footage, the thief entered the temple at night. He stepped into the temple as a devotee and first inspected the surroundings, so that it could be clear that no one is watching him. After this, he stole the coins kept at the feet of the idol of Fanda and Goddess Mata in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The thief picked up the clothes kept near the idol and took out the chillar, which the devotees offer at the feet of the mother with reverence.
