At many places in districts like Noida-Ghaziabad, the level of air pollution has crossed 400, due to which the entire city seems to be turning into gas chambers.

In Noida, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida adjacent to Delhi, the level of air pollution has ranged from very poor to severe. Mist and smoke are visible everywhere in the sky since morning. It is so deep that even the sun’s rays have become blurred.

Noida-Ghaziabad became gas chamber

This smoke that dissolves in the breath is now having a negative impact on people’s health. Noida and Ghaziabad have come in the list of most polluted cities, in many areas the air quality index is above 400, which comes in the severe category of air, while at many places it is above 350.

On Friday morning, the air pollution level in Sector 125, Sector 116 and Sector 1 of Noida crossed 390 to 400. Similar is the condition of Vasundhara, Indirapuram, Sanjay Colony and Loni areas of Ghaziabad, here also the AQI level remains around 400. The air quality index in Meerut was recorded at 332 while the AQI in Greater Noida was recorded at 388.

It is clear from these figures that the air in these cities is no longer fit for breathing. Children and the elderly are facing the most problems. In such circumstances, doctors have advised people to wear masks. People using two-wheelers are facing a lot of difficulties. Due to pollution they are facing problems like eye irritation and cough.

Mercury dropped below 10 degrees in many districts

The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather in both the western and eastern divisions of the state today, November 14. However, during this period, there is a possibility of shallow and moderate fog at some places in the morning. The fog will continue in the coming days also.

After November 17, there will be a slight reduction in fog but the weather is expected to remain dry. No warning has been given during this period. The minimum temperature in many districts has gone below 10 degrees. Kanpur was the coldest district of the state in the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature here was recorded at 8.6 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Etawah, Fursatganj, Bareilly and Barabanki also fell below 10 degrees Celsius.
