Riya Kejriwal, Managing Director of Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam, has issued orders in this regard. According to the order, this decision has been taken for maintaining the power supply smooth during the rainy season and immediate improvement work in the fault condition.
Electricity workers holiday canceled
Sources say that due to rain, the incidence of fault in power lines increases, so the availability of adequate manpower is necessary. In view of this, no power worker of any category will now be approved till 30 September.
A copy of the order has been issued by the electricity department to all the zones of the state and instructions have been given to strictly follow it. According to the department, this decision has been taken in view of the rainy season.
