An important meeting was held on Thursday at IIMT College, Knowledge Park, Greater Noida. This meeting was called regarding the UP Board 10th and 12th examinations which are going to start from 18th February. District Magistrate Medha Rupam presided over the meeting. During this period many police and administration officials were present.
Center administrators, static magistrates, sector magistrates and zonal magistrates of 60 examination centers of the district also participated in the meeting. Everyone was instructed in clear words that the examination should be conducted in a completely peaceful and fair manner.
Strong room will be monitored 24 hours
The District Magistrate gave instructions to prepare strong rooms at all the examination centres. He said that question papers and answer sheets will be kept safe in the strong room. These rooms will be monitored 24 hours by CCTV cameras.
He gave strict instructions to the officers that any kind of laxity or carelessness will not be tolerated. It should be ensured that all the officers and employees associated with the examination reach their duty on time. Lateness or absence will be taken seriously.
Special emphasis on double lock system
In the meeting, the District Magistrate asked to pay special attention to the arrangement of four double lock shelves kept in the strong room. He directed that the process of opening and closing the shelves should be strictly as per the rules.
Before opening the question paper envelope on the day of examination, the presence of the Center Administrator, Co-Center Administrator and Static Magistrate will be necessary. No envelope will be opened without their presence. Maintenance of keys will also be done as per rules.
Necessary facilities at examination centers
DM Medha Rupam directed to maintain cleanliness around the examination centres. He said that students should not face any kind of problem. Responsibility for providing drinking water, first aid facilities and keeping toilets clean should be fixed at all the centres.
Along with this, police were also instructed to maintain peace outside the centers during the examination. There should not be any kind of crowd or chaos. Additional police force will also be deployed if needed.
More than 42 thousand students will take the exam
District School Inspector Rajesh Kumar Singh informed that about 42,917 students of the district will participate in the UP Board Examination 2026. These include students of class 10th and 12th.
He told that a total of 60 examination centers have been set up in the district. Preparations have almost been completed at all the centres. Preparations for question paper security, seating arrangements and monitoring have been made.
Emphasis on conducting fair examination
It was clearly said in the meeting that the examination will be conducted in a completely transparent manner. Strict steps will be taken to prevent copying or any kind of irregularities.
Officials were instructed to take immediate action on any complaint during the examination. If any irregularities are reported from anywhere then the concerned officers will be responsible.
