He said that this time the election of Vlock chief will be directly through the public. Till now BDC members used to choose Vlock chief, but now this responsibility will be given directly to the public. Speaking to ABP News, Om Prakash Rajbhar said that for this decision, he has met Union Home Minister Amit Shah twice and Prime Minister Narendra Modi once. He has been assured that this decision will be implemented soon. He said that this will end the politics of money power and muscle power and democracy will be strengthened in the true sense.
Rajbhar claimed that if this system is implemented in Uttar Pradesh, then the same model will be adopted in the whole country in the coming time. He said that the direct participation of the public will strengthen democracy and there will be no pressure in choosing the Volock chief.
He also spoke on the panchayat elections. Om Prakash Rajbhar said that panchayat elections will be held at their scheduled time. He made it clear that this time he will contest panchayat elections alone. At the same time, in the assembly elections to be held in 2027, his party will contest elections with BJP. Om Prakash Rajbhar also said that his party will get more opportunities for development only by staying in an alliance.
Om Prakash Rajbhar also gave his response to the Mau Sadar assembly seat. On the discussion of the by -election of this seat, he said that this seat has already been his. Attacking the SP, he said that if the Samajwadi Party thinks that he has won OP Rajbhar, then why could the SP not win this seat in 2017? He said that the public has always trusted his work and will do it even further.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plans, Om Prakash Rajbhar said that the people are happy with Modi’s works. Free ration, domestic gas under Ujjwala scheme, permanent house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, everything is being found. He said that those who have reached these facilities in the house are not going to go anywhere else.
Significantly, Om Prakash Rajbhar’s party Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhaspa) had first tied up with Samajwadi Party. But after the 2022 assembly elections, he again joined the NDA. Now he is talking about getting alone in panchayat elections. Along with this, in 2027, he has announced to contest elections with BJP.
