UP Panchayat Elections 2026: All political parties have intensified their preparations for Uttar Pradesh Panchayat elections. Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, led by NDA’s aide Om Prakash Rajbhar, will contest this election on its own. Meanwhile, the Subhaspa chief has once again started fueling the issue of quota in quota. Rajbhar said that he will soon meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this issue. Obviously, this issue can increase discomfort for BJP.
Om Prakash Rajbhar has been demanding sharing in OBC and SC reservation in the long run. He said that now he will put this issue in front of CM Yogi and PM Modi and through a proposal, they will also demand representation to the extreme backward castes of these classes in the reservation of backward classes and scheduled castes in the panchayat elections. So that they can also get representation. The radar alleged that under the present system, only a few castes are getting the benefit of reservation and the rest of the castes are not getting their rights.
He said that the state government had formed a social justice committee regarding quota in OBC reservation. In its report, it has been recommended to divide OBC reservation into three parts. In which 7 percent quota of backward castes has been recommended. It contains 16 castes. For the most backward castes, 9 percent quota is recommended, there are 32 castes and 11 percent are the most backward castes in which 57 castes have been kept. He said that a law should be made by bringing a proposal in the Legislature to determine the quota in the quota. Our party will try its best.
Rajbhar can increase BJP’s difficulty!
This demand of Subhaspa chief can create difficulties for the Bharatiya Janata Party because at the moment it does not appear to be connected with BJP. Speaking in this regard, a senior BJP official said that the demand for quota in quota is not possible in the present situation. This is a sensitive issue, in such a situation it will be difficult to implement it. In our Constitution, the current elections will be held on the basis of the arrangements made for the panchayat elections.
