Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially officially announced the date of the State/Pravar Subordinate Services Examination i.e. UPPSC Main Examination 2025. Candidates who have passed the preliminary examination, now they can start preparing for the main examination. This exam will be held in two shifts in Prayagraj and Lucknow from 29 June to 2 July 2025. This time 947 posts are to be admitted under PCS.
According to the information issued by UPPSC, this time 15,066 candidates will appear in the main examination. The exam will be conducted in two sessions- the first session from 9 am to 12 noon and the second session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
The examination will start on June 29, in which the first session will be taken for general Hindi and essay writing test in the second session. General Studies in the first session on 30 June – paper 1 and general studies in the second session – paper 2 will be. On July 1, General Studies Paper 3 and 4, while on July 2, there will be a paper 5 and 6 exam.
how will the pattern
The commission has also clarified the pattern of the main examination. This exam will be of a total of 1500 marks. It will have 6 papers of general studies, each paper will be of 200 marks. Apart from this, the examination of general Hindi and essay writing will be 150-150 marks. The special thing is that the paper 5 and 6 of general studies will be based on the state of Uttar Pradesh, in which questions related to the state will be asked.

Now let’s talk about the admit card, then the Commission will soon release it on its official website. Candidates will be able to download their admit card by visiting uppsc.up.nic.in. For this, they have to enter their registration number and date of birth. It will be necessary to take a valid photo identity card to the examination center with the admit card, otherwise it will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
