The investigation report of UP Police has arrived regarding the Shastra Puja held on Dussehra at the residence of Raja Bhaiya, MLA from Kunda seat of Uttar Pradesh and chief of Loktantrik Jansatta Dal Party. In this report, the weapon worship program has been described as traditional and it has been said that no criminal act has been committed during it.
This year, on the occasion of Vijayadashami, pictures of weapon worship at Raja Bhaiya’s Benti residence went viral on social media. In these pictures, the king was also seen with a huge stock of weapons, which Raja Bhaiya worshiped. His wife Bhanvi Singh had also raised her voice on social media regarding this issue.
Police gave report on weapon worship
After the pictures of Shastra Pujan went viral, former IPS officer Amitabh Thakur had raised questions and demanded a police investigation. Pratapgarh’s Additional SP Brijanandan Rai had handed over the investigation of this complaint to CO Kunda Amarnath Gupta, this report has now come out.
In this report, this weapon worship held at Raja Bhaiya’s Benti residence has been described as a traditional program. It was said in the report that Shastra Puja is being performed in the Hanuman temple premises located at Raja Bhaiya’s residence for the last 30 years.
The program was described as religious and traditional
This puja was performed by his ancestors Late. Rai Bajrang Bahadur Singh, followed by his successor Udai Pratap Singh, has traditionally been performed at Bhadri Raj Mahal. In the investigation so far, no such fact has been found that any kind of weapon display, practice or anything against the law was done on that day.
On the day of Vijayadashami, adequate police force was deployed at various places but no complaint was received regarding any disturbance of peace. This program is completely religious and traditional in nature which was conducted in a peaceful manner in a private residence. Local people have also not expressed any kind of objection or opposition.
Additional SP has instructed CO Kunda and Inspector Hathiganwa to keep a constant vigil in this matter and said that if any fact comes to light, legal action will be taken.
