UP Politics: After the by-elections in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 and then the by-elections in different assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav took a big decision on Wednesday evening, 11 June. This decision was given by Shyamlal Pal, president of SP’s UP unit.
It was told by the SP that all the district heads except Kushinagar have been removed. After this information came to light, the question started to swim in front of everyone that when all were removed, why did Akhilesh take this decision on Kushinagar?
So now know the reason for this. In fact, in March this year, SP’s Kushinagar District President Mohammad Shukarullah Ansari passed away. He was ill for a long time. He was appointed president in 2023 and was posted since then. However, after his death, this post became vacant.
And then Ram Awadh became District President
Then the SP entrusted the responsibility of Kushinagar to Ram Awadh Yadav, former member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council. On March 23, Akhilesh appointed Ram Awadh as the District President of Kushinagar.
Since Ram Awadh Yadav has been appointed barely two and a half months ago, it is believed that he was not removed. Apart from this, it is also being said that Ram Awadh Yadav is also a confidant of Akhilesh, hence the decision was not taken by the SP to dissolve the Kushinagar unit.

Actually, internal surgery in SP started from Agra itself. This month, the team of Agra district was dismissed. Political experts believe that the SP Chief wants to overhell the entire SP before the Panchayat elections in the year 2026 and the proposed assembly elections in 2027. So that the passive members can be given the responsibility to the new and trusted people by showing the way out.
After this decision of SP Chief, now leaders of the party, including the district president in UP, can start running in Lucknow in other frontal organizations of the party.
