How has been the political journey of Vinay Katiyar so far?
Let us tell you that Katiyar was the founder-president of Bajrang Dal, the youth wing of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). Through this platform, he gathered a large number of young supporters and became one of the most recognizable faces of the Ayodhya movement. His activism during this period brought him national recognition and strengthened his position in the broader Sangh Parivar.
Later, he entered electoral politics with BJP and was elected to the Lok Sabha twice from Faizabad parliamentary constituency. Katiyar was also a member of the Rajya Sabha from Uttar Pradesh. Katiyar became nationally famous as a prominent leader associated with the Ram Janmabhoomi movement in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Within the BJP, Vinay Katiyar has held many organizational responsibilities and is known as a leader with strong ideological beliefs.
