The politics of the state has heated up before the assembly elections 2027 to be held next year in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, the controversial statement of Asaduddin Owaisi’s party leader and UP AIMIM state president Shaukat Ali has come to light. Shaukat Ali has threatened to hit those who call AIMIM the ‘B team of BJP’ with shoes.
In fact, in Hasanpur, Amroha, AIMIM state president Shaukat Ali talked about hitting those who called ‘BJP’s B team’ with shoes. The statement of AIMIM State President Shaukat Ali has created a stir in the political circles. While talking to the media, Shaukat Ali, who reached Hasanpur, clearly said that his party will make serious efforts towards forming a strong and effective alliance for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections to be held in 2027.
Objection expressed on being called B team of BJP
He said that AIMIM will not enter the electoral arena alone but will take along like-minded forces and fight for change of power. During this, Shaukat Ali expressed strong objection to his party being called ‘B team’ of BJP and launched a scathing attack on those making such allegations. He reportedly said that those who call AIMIM the B team of BJP will be responded with shoes.
‘AIMIM does politics on the strength of the organization’
Shaukat Ali said that AIMIM does politics on the strength of its ideology and organization and conspiracies are being hatched to defame the party. As soon as Shaukat Ali’s statement came out, opposition parties reacted sharply, while supporters saw it as a response to provocation. At present, there has been no official response from the administration, but the political debate has intensified regarding the 2027 elections and the alliance strategy.
