UP T20 League 2025: The UP T20 League 2025 started in a bang. In the league opening match, defending champions Meerut Mavrices and Kanpur superstars were face to face. In this match, Meerut’s young batsman Madhav Kaushik played such an innings that thrilled the audience. Kaushik was supported by Rituraj Sharma, who played a useful innings of 60 runs off 36 balls. Both batsmen shared a tremendous 130 runs for the fourth wicket. During this, captain Rinku Singh Dugout was seen enjoying the batting of both the players.
Kanpur defeat, Sameer Rizvi’s struggle
The Kanpur superstars started very poorly, chasing a huge target of 226 runs. The team could not manage after the initial wicket fell. Captain Sameer Rizvi definitely scored 45 runs from 36 balls, but he did not get the support of any other batsman. As a result, the entire team of Kanpur was reduced to 139 runs and Meerut Mavrices took the match by 86 runs.
