The weather has changed completely after the rain and storm in Uttar Pradesh. Intermittent rain has continued in Noida and Ghaziabad since late evening, due to which the temperature has dropped rapidly. While earlier in the month of March people were facing intense heat, after the rain the cold winds forced people to shiver. Even today the Meteorological Department has warned of rain and hailstorm in most parts of the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather has completely changed in UP today on Friday, March 20 due to the activation of Western Disturbance. Today, there is a possibility of rain at many places in Western UP from Meerut to Agra, Kanpur. A rain alert has been given in Eastern UP. During this time, there will be heavy rain with thunder and strong winds blowing at a speed of 50-60 km per hour.

Today in UP Saharanpur, Baghpat, Bijnor, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Moradabad, Meerut, Noida, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Sambhal, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Badaun, Mathura, Aligarh, Badaun, Hathras, Kasganj, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Etawah, Auraiya, Kanpur, Jalaun, There has been a warning of rain and hailstorm along with strong storm in Hamirpur, Fatehpur, Gonda.

Orange alert has been given in these districts for strong winds with a speed of 50-60 kmph and thunderstorm.
Apart from this, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bahraich, Barabanki, Gonda, Shravasti, Ayodhya, Balrampur, Sultanpur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Mau, Ghazipur and Ballia are affected by strong winds. Along with this, an alert of rain and thunderstorm has been given.
Temperature dropped rapidly due to rain
The temperature has also decreased due to rain. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a sudden drop of 5-7 degrees in the maximum temperature of the state in the next two days. After this there will be an increase of 3-5 degrees. The minimum temperature will also come down by 2-4 degrees. However, no significant change in temperature is expected in eastern UP.
