UP Weather: The mood of the weather is changing in UP, it is sunny during the day and cold at night, know the update of IMD.

The weather remains pleasant in Uttar Pradesh. The weather is very clear during the day, after the sun comes out there is not much heat, whereas in the morning and evening due to cold winds, mild cold is being felt. Now people have also switched off their ACs and coolers. Dry weather is expected in the state even today. No major changes are expected in the coming five days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be dry in both the western and eastern divisions of Uttar Pradesh today, October 17. All 75 districts including the capital Lucknow, Noida, Varanasi, Agra remain in the Green Zone today. The sky will be clear since morning and there will be bright sunshine. There is no forecast of rain anywhere nor has any warning been given.

Weather will remain like this till Diwali

According to the Meteorological Department, similar weather is predicted till Diwali. The weather will remain dry in all the districts of the state on 18th and 19th October. No warning has been given anywhere. There will be no major change in the maximum and minimum temperatures of UP till October 22. Sunny, clear weather during the day and mild cold in the evening will continue for the next five days.

Due to wind pressure in the state, light fog may be seen at some places in the morning, but it will disappear as the day progresses. Kanpur has been recorded as the coldest district in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature recorded here at night was 16.6 degrees Celsius. Apart from Kanpur, Etawah, Bareilly, Ayodhya and Shahjahanpur had the lowest minimum temperatures.

Where was the lowest temperature in UP?

Talking about the capital Lucknow, the highest temperature here was 31.9 and the minimum was around 19 degrees Celsius. Whereas in Varanasi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 32.3 degrees during the day and 2.3 degrees below normal at night. The minimum temperature here was 19.0 degrees Celsius.

Apart from these, minimum temperature has been recorded at 18.8 in Agra, 18.4 in Bahraich, 19.4 in Gorakhpur, 19.1 in Prayagraj, 18.5 in Hardoi and 18.0 degree Celsius in Barabanki.
