According to the Meteorological Department, the process of rain will continue in the state till 31 May, which will drop in temperature.

During this time, there is a possibility of rain showers in some districts of eastern and western UP. During this time, lightning has also been warned of lightning with cloud roaring and the winds will be blowing at a speed of 30-40 km per hour. Rainfall is expected in most parts of the state from May 29. The same weather will remain till 31 May.

In UP today, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Barabanki, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Maharaj Ganj, Kushinagar, Deoria, Ballia, Deoria, Mau, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirjapur, Sonbhadra, Sant Ravi, Prayagra, Bandha, Mahoba And in Lalitpur, alert has been issued for rain with dust storm and cloud roaring at many places. People have been advised to be careful about warning of thunderstorms.
The weather has become pleasant due to rain. People have also got relief from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, in the next two days, the maximum temperature will gradually increase the temperature of 2 degrees Celsius. After this, the maximum temperature is likely to fall by 2 degrees Celsius again, while there will be no major change in the minimum temperature. Banda, Orai, Kanpur, Jhansi and Fatehgarh are getting the most heat these days. The temperature here is running around 40 degrees.
