The weather is going to change once again in Uttar Pradesh, the cold had subsided in the state for the last few days and the heat started being felt as soon as the sun came out, but from Tuesday, a new western disturbance has become active in the state, the effect of which will be visible in the north-western districts today on Wednesday, February 18 and there may be light drizzle in many districts.

According to the Meteorological Department, many districts including Noida-Ghaziabad in the western division of UP will remain cloudy from this morning, moderate to light rain with thunderstorms is expected at some places. Light drizzle may also be seen at some places. The weather is expected to remain dry in Purvanchal division today.

In UP today, rain is expected at one or two places in Noida, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Agra, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Jhansi, Hamirpur, Mahoba and Lalitpur. In these districts, winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 km per hour and there is a possibility of hailstorm along with lightning at some places.

How will the weather be in Lucknow, Varanasi?

Talking about the capital Lucknow, the weather will be clear here today, there will be sunshine during the day, which will increase the heat. No warning of any kind has been given here. The maximum temperature in Lucknow is expected to be 27 and the minimum temperature will be 12 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the sky will be clear in Varanasi, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj today.

The temperature has increased in UP in the last few days. This time winter has said goodbye in the month of February itself. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no impact on the temperature due to rain. The weather in the state will remain dry for the next seven days and there will be no change in the maximum and minimum temperatures of the state. However, the minimum temperature may increase by up to 2 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours. After this there will be a similar decline.
