The weather has once again changed amid rising mercury and intense heat in Uttar Pradesh. There was light drizzle in Noida-Ghaziabad and some surrounding areas today on March 15 in the morning, which will provide relief to people from the scorching sun. Today, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of clouds, storm and rain in many districts from east to west.
According to the Meteorological Department, western disturbance is becoming active in the state on Sunday, due to which about 49 districts of both western and eastern divisions may receive light to moderate rain today. There has also been a warning of hailstorm at some places. During this period, strong gusty winds at a speed of 40-50 km per hour are expected. Due to which the temperature will reduce.

Today in UP, there are chances of heavy rain with thunder in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bijnor, Baghpat, Meerut, Noida, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur and surrounding areas. Strong surface winds will blow at a speed of 40-50 km per hour in these districts.
Hail warning in these districts
Light to moderate rain may occur in Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Hathras, Firozabad, Etah, Kasganj, Badaun, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Sitapur, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda, Ayodhya, Basti, Ambedkar Nagar and Ghazipur. There has also been a warning of hailstorm along with strong winds in Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Mau, Deoria and Ballia today.
In the capital Lucknow too, there will be movement of light clouds in the sky from this morning. There may be light drizzle at some places along with strong winds in the morning. The maximum temperature in Lucknow today is expected to drop to 30 degrees. On Friday it had reached 38 degrees. However, the weather will clear after noon. There was heavy rain in Meerut on Sunday, due to which the temperature has come down.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of the state will decrease by 2-4 degrees Celsius in the next three days. After this, the temperature will increase once again while the minimum temperature is also expected to decrease by 2 degrees.
