Heavy dense fog and icy winds have increased the cold in Uttar Pradesh. Fog is being seen in the morning and evening, although people are getting relief due to some sunshine during the day. There will be fluctuations in the weather in the coming days. Two new western disturbances are becoming active in the north. Due to which rain will be seen in many parts from January 22 and the fog will reduce.

The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather in both the divisions of the state today, January 19. During this period, warnings of dense fog have been issued in the western and eastern parts. The fog will start reducing slightly from Tuesday. After this, the effect of western disturbance will be seen in the state. Due to which there will be snowfall in the mountains and there are chances of rain in the plains.

Dense fog warning in these districts

In UP, on Monday, dense fog warning has been given in Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Khari, Sitapur, Bahraich, Barabanki, Shravasti, Gonda, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Deoria, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Mau and Ballia.

How will the weather be in the capital Lucknow?

Hardoi, Fursatganj, Barabanki, Meerut and Ayodhya are the coldest districts of the state in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature here remained between 3-4 degrees. Moderate fog will be seen today in the capital Lucknow also. There will be sunshine during the day, which will give people relief from the cold. However, the cold will increase after the sunset in the evening. The minimum temperature in Lucknow has been recorded at 6.4 degrees Celsius.

Rain alert for 3 days in UP

Two new western disturbances are becoming active in the state. Their impact will be visible in Western UP and surrounding areas from January 21. Due to which the sky is expected to be cloudy. From January 22, rain will be seen in many surrounding areas including Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut. Light rain is expected to continue till January 24. Fog will also reduce due to rain.
