Weather fluctuations continue in Uttar Pradesh. These days, a white sheet of dense fog is being seen in the morning and evening, however, due to sunshine during the day, the weather becomes clear and the sun is shining but the icy winds have increased the melting in western UP. According to the Meteorological Department, a new western disturbance is becoming active in the Himalayan region, which will cause rain in Western UP on January 19-20.

The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather in the state even today. However, there is a possibility of dense to very dense fog at some places in both the divisions of the state. Even on Saturday, dense fog can cause trouble to people while commuting. However, there will be a change in the weather from Sunday. Due to which rain has been predicted in many districts of Western UP, due to rain the cold will increase further.

Rain alert in western UP

Talking about the capital Lucknow, there is some relief here due to sunshine during the day. However, there is chill at night due to fog and cold winds. There is a lot of difference between day and night temperatures. Melting has increased in Noida Ghaziabad due to cold winds. A similar situation has prevailed here for the last one week.

Warning of extremely dense fog in these districts

Today in UP, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Baghpat, Hapur, Bijnor, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Bareilly, Badaun, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Gonda, Shravasti, Balrampur, Kushinagar, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Basti, Ambedkar Nagar and There will be dense to very dense fog in Kushinagar today. Orange alert has been issued for these districts. There may be zero meter visibility at many places.

Apart from this, yellow alert of dense fog has been given in Noida, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, Hathras, Etah, Kasganj, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Hardoi, Unnao, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia and Ghazipur today.

Hardoi district of UP has been the coldest in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature recorded here is 3 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, Fursatganj, Bareilly, Kanpur and Aligarh were the coldest districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be no change in the minimum temperature for the next five days, after which it will gradually increase by 4-6 0C.
