Severe cold and fog continue in Uttar Pradesh. On Thursday too, there was zero visibility due to fog in many districts of the state, due to which there was difficulty in driving on the roads. However, slight changes in the weather have been predicted today. On Friday, people will get some respite from the fog, but they will feel cold due to the icy winds.

This time there is dry cold in UP. Snowfall on the mountains has increased the cold in the plains as well. Bone-chilling cold is being felt in the morning and evening. However, there is definitely some relief from sunlight during the day. The weather department has predicted dry weather in the state today. However, warnings of dense fog have been issued in districts like Prayagraj and Kushinagar.

Fog and cold continue in UP

People will get some respite from fog in the western division on Friday. Today most of the districts here are in the Green Zone, there has been no warning of fog or cold wave. Whereas there is a warning of dense fog in many districts of Eastern UP even today. There is a forecast of sunshine in the afternoon, the fog will disappear with the rising of the sun and the lukewarm sunshine will provide relief.

The Meteorological Department has predicted dense fog in Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli and Sonbhadra and surrounding areas of UP today. All the remaining districts of the state are in the green zone today. Neither fog nor cold day has been warned in these districts.

How will be the weather in Lucknow, Noida today?

There was sunshine in the capital Lucknow on Thursday, but by evening the cold has increased once again. Due to which people hid in their homes. The minimum temperature recorded here in the last 24 hours was 6.4 degrees Celsius. Even in Noida-Ghaziabad, people are not likely to get much respite from the cold. However, there will be less fog here today.

Churk recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 4.0 degrees Celsius, while Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Bareilly and Sultanpur recorded minimum temperatures between 4 to 5 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has predicted the maximum temperature to rise by 3-5 degrees Celsius in the next three days and then fall by 2-4 degrees. After two days the minimum temperature will also drop.
