Lucknow News: In Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath government is taking fast steps towards doubling the income of farmers by connecting farming and farming with modern technology. Now with the help of Israel’s state -of -the -art agricultural technology in the state, preparations are being made for qualitative and quantitative improvement in vegetable production. Under this scheme, 26 crore advanced plants will be prepared in the state, which will give more yield to farmers and increase their income.
The ‘Center of Excellence for Fruits’ in Kaushambi and ‘Center of Excellence for Vegetables’ are being established by the state government in Kaushambi. Along with this, there are plans to establish two high-tech nurseries in every district of the state. Overall, a network of 150 high -tech nurseries is being prepared, which will provide all the resources of good quality plant, training and modern farming to the farmers.
State Minister of State for Horticulture Dinesh Pratap Singh informed that these efforts will help in doubling the income of farmers. He informed that heavy subsidy is being given to farmers for drip and sprinkler irrigation. On drip irrigation, 90% of small and marginal farmers and 80% are being given to others. Similarly, subsidy of 75% to 65% is being given on sprinkler system.
The government’s focus is at this time on reducing the cost of farming, increasing production and providing better marketing facilities to farmers. Through high -tech nurseries and Center of Excellence, farmers will be provided with all the information related to seeds, plants, fertilizers, pesticides, organic products, water management and market.

There is now a plan to launch drip irrigation, greenhouse technology and plant production techniques on the land of Uttar Pradesh.
